Hi all readers! In the previous article I explained about the creation of the light of the Prophet Muhammad. There are many things that we already know about that. In this article I will explain about the creation of the Prophet Adam. He is the first human being created by Allah. He was nicknamed the “Father of all Humans”.
Okay! Straight to!
In the book Daqaa’iqu al-Akhbaar fii Dzikri al-Jannati wa an-Naar explained, that Ibn Abbas said, “Allah has created the body of Adam from several regions in the world. His head was created from the land of the Ka’bah. His chest was created from several lands in several regions of the earth. His stomach was created from Indian soil. His hands were created from the land of the east. Both legs were created from the land of the western region.”
Wahab bin Munabbah said, “Allah has created Adam from seven earths. His head was created from the first earth. His neck was created from the second earth. His chest was created from the third earth. Both hands were created from the fourth earth. His back and stomach were created from the fifth earth. His thighs and buttocks were created from the sixth earth. The two calves are created from the seventh earth.”
In another narrative Ibn Abbas said, “Allah has created Adam. His head was created from the land of Baitul Maqdis. His face was created from the land of Heaven. His ears were created from the land of Sinai. His forehead was created from the land of Iraq. His teeth were created from the land of Kautsar. His right hand until his fingers were created from the land of the Ka’bah. His left hand was created from Persian land. Two legs until two calves were created from Indian soil. The bone was created from the mountain land. His aurat was created from the land of Babylon. His back was created from the land of Iraq. His stomach was created from the land of Khurasan. His heart was created from the land of Paradise Heaven. The oral was created from the land of Taif. His eyes were created from the lake. When his head was created from the land of Baitul Maqdis, then it became a place of reason, intelligence, and pronunciation. When his ears were created from the land of Sinai, it became a place to listen to advice. When his forehead was created from the land of Iraq, it became a place to bow to Allah. When his face was created from the land of Heaven, it became a place of beauty and decoration. When his teeth were created from the land of Kautsar, it became a place of sweetness. When his right hand is created from the Ka’bah, it becomes a place of blessing and help in livelihood and charity. When his right hand is created from Persian soil, it becomes a place of purification and istinja’ (cleansing feces after defecation). When his stomach was created from the land of Khurasan, it became a place of violence. When his heart was created from the land of Paradise, it was a place of faith. When the oral was created from the land of Taif, it became a place of testimony, worship, and prayer to Allah.”
Allah has made nine doors in Adam’s body. Seven doors are on the head; two eyes, two ears, two nostrils, and one mouth. The other two doors are on his body; anus and penis. Allah also gave him seven five senses; vision in both eyes, hearing in both ears, taste in the mouth, feeling in both hands, and sniffing in the nose.
It was said, when Allah wanted to blow spirit into Adam’s body, Allah told the spirit to enter it. When the spirit entered his brain, the spirit swirled in it for about two hundred years. When the spirit enters into his two eyes, he sees himself. He saw a dry land. When the spirit reached his ears, he heard the prayer beads uttered by the angels. Then the spirit descends into the sky, then sneezes. When he sneezes, the spirit goes down to his mouth, verbally, and both ears. Allah then instructed him to say, “al-Hamdulillaahi (all praise be to Allah).” Allah then answered, “yarhamuka Rabbuka yaa Adam (may your Allah bless you, O Adam). Then the spirit fell to his chest. He then rushed to stand up but he couldn’t do that. That is what the word of Allah means;
And man prays for evil as he ought to pray for good, and man is ever hasty. (Al-Israa’ ; 11).
When the spirit drops to his stomach, he then wants to eat. Then the spirit is spread all over the body to become flesh, blood, tendons, and nerves. Allah then wrapped it in clothes from nails that continued to grow nice and beautiful every day. When it approached the tail, Allah then replaced the nail to become skin and only left in his fingers so that he remembered his first condition.
When Allah had perfected Adam’s creation, blew the spirit in it, gave him Heaven’s clothing, and Muhammad’s light shone very brightly like the moon on a full moon in front of him, then he was lifted on a bed and put on the angels’ necks, then Allah said to them “Go around by bringing him to the ceiling by bringing his bed, so that he sees his beauty and what is in it, so that he will be more confident.” They said, “O our Lord, we have heard and obeyed.” They then carried it over their necks and wandered around the ceiling for about a hundred years.
Then Allah created a horse from a very fragrant white misik. The horse is called Maimun. It has two wings made of pearl and marjan. Adam then climbed it. Gabriel holds his control rope. Michael is on his right side and Israfil is on his left. They then surrounded all the skies. He greeted the angels. He said, “As-Salaamu ‘alaikum.” They then answered, “Wa ‘alaikum as-Salaam.” Allah then said to him, “O Adam, this is respect for you and the believers of your descendants until the Day of Judgment.”
