questions and answers about hadith qudsi, hadith qudsi,

As for some questions and answers about hadith Qudsi, what I mean is as follows:

What Is Meant by Hadith Qudsi?

If there is a Muslim who asks you, “What is meant by hadith Qudsi?”, Then the answer is “the word of Allah that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad when he was sleeping or when he was not sleeping. Sometimes, the hadith Qudsi came down to him through the angel Gabriel. He then informed the Muslims with his own words. “

Specifically, we can understand the meaning of the hadith Qudsi in the explanation below:

The hadith Qudsi is that Allah informs the Prophet Muhammad about what He wants, sometimes through inspiration or dreams, and sometimes through Jibril alaihi as-Salam, then Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam informs his people using his own expressions (words).

That is the basic explanation of what is meant by hadith Qudsi. Muslims must know that.

What Is Special About Hadith Qudsi?

If a Muslim asks you, “What is special about hadith Qudsi?”, Then the answer is that what is special about the hadith Qudsi is the explanation of Allah, prayer, fasting, and ethics that are not found in the Quran and the hadith of Nabawi.

I say it is special because the explanation of divinity, prayer, fasting, and ethics in the hadith Qudsi is to complement the explanation in the Quran and the hadith. Thus, if we read the explanation about it all from three sources (Quran, hadith Nabawi, and hadith Qudsi), then we will have complete knowledge.

How Many Hadith Qudsi Do We Have?

If a Muslim asks you, “How many hadith Qudsi do we have?”, Then the answer is, that the number of hadith Qudsi is very large. But not all statuses of the hadith Qudsi are valid. In other words, there are hadith Qudsi that are valid or that we can accept the truth, and there are hadith Qudsi that are invalid or that we cannot accept the truth.

Thus, the number of hadith Qudsi is related to the results of the study of Muslim experts about it. For example, we can find an explanation of the hadith Qudsi in the book “al-Ittihafaat as-Saniyyah fii al-Ahadiits al-Qudsi”. The book was written by Muhammad al-Madani.

In the book, it is explained that there are actually some Muslim scholars who have written a book that contains hadith Qudsi. One of them is Ali al-Qari. He died in 1025 hijria. The number of hadith Qudsi that he wrote in his book was forty thousand hadiths.

Allah Taala said, “I have divided the prayer into two parts, and my servant gets what he has asked for.” If the servant says, “All praise belongs to Allah, the Lord who rules the universe,” then Allah said, “My servant has praised me.” If the servant says, “God is merciful and most merciful,” then Allah says, “My servant has praised me.” If the servant says, “The Lord who rules the Day of Judgment,” then Allah says, “My servant has glorified Me.” If the servant says, “I only worship you and only ask you for help,” then Allah says, “This is between me and my servant, and my servant has got what he has asked for.” If the servant says, “Show us the straight path, the path of those whom You have given pleasure to, not the path of those whom You have wrathed, and also not the way of those who have gone astray,” then Allah said, “This is belongs to my servant, and my servant gets what he has asked for.”
