Prophet Muhammad’s Intercession on Day of Judgment

Hi all readers! In this article I explain about the intercession or help of the Prophet Muhammad on the Day of Judgment. What I mean is that later his help will be needed by all beings, especially his people. This discussion relates to faith in Judgment Day. As a Muslim we must know about it. That is because we really need his help later on the Day of Judgment.
On the Day of Resurrection there will be a lot of very horrible events. The sun will be brought above us, the queues are very long to wait for their turn to be tried, thirst quenching the neck, and so on.
Information about the intercession of the prophet Muhammad can be seen in the verses of the Qur’an and the hadith below;
The day on which property will not avail, nor sons [88] Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil) [89]. (Asy-Syu’araa’ [26]; 88-89).

The day on which a man shall fly from his brother [34] And his mother and his father [35] And his spouse and his son [36] Every man of them shall on that day have an affair which will occupy him [37]. (‘Abasa [80]; 34-37).

The day on which men shall stand before the Lord of the worlds? (Al-Muthaffifiin [83]; 6).
Messenger of Allah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “Every Prophet has a prayer that is obligatory (surely granted). All the Prophets have used that prayer. And indeed, I keep my prayer as intercession on the Day of Judgment. The intercession, Allah willing, will be obtained by my people who die in the condition of not associating with Allah with anything.” (The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari, 5858, and Muslim, 303).
From Anas bin Malik, he said, “(Prophet) Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said to us, “If the Day of Resurrection happens then all people shake. They then met Adam and said, “Ask your God for help for us.” He then said, “I can’t do that. You have to meet Ibrahim because he is Khaliilur-Rahmaan (lover of the Most Loving One).” They then met Ibrahim. He then said, “I can’t do that. You must meet Moses, because he is Kaliimullaah (the person whom God spoke to).” They then met Moses. He then said, “I can’t do that. you have to meet Isa because he is Ruuhullah wa Kalimatuhu (the person who was created by Him with His sentence and spirit that was brought directly by the angel Gabriel).” They then met Isa. He then said, “I can’t do that. You must meet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.” They then met me. I then said, “I can do that. I will ask permission from my Lord. He then allowed me and inspired me in the form of praise that I used to praise Him. Don’t come to me now. I then praised Him with those praises and I knelt down to Him. He (my Lord) then said, “O Muhammad, raise your head. Say, your ak will be heard. Ask then you will be given. Give help (intercession) then your help will be granted.” I then said, “O my Lord, my people, my people.” He then said, “Depart and remove from it the person who in his heart there is faith as big as wheat. Take him out!” I then left and did that. Then I came back and I praised Him with those praises and then I knelt down to Him. Then He says, “O Muhammad, raise your head. Then you will be heard. Ask then you will be given. Give help (intercession) then your help will be granted.” I then said, “O my Lord, my people, my people.” He then said, “Depart and remove from it the person who in his heart there is a faith as big as a small seed. Take him out!” I then left and did that. Then I came back and I praised Him with those praises and then I knelt down to Him. Then He says, “O Muhammad, raise your head. Then you will be heard. Ask then you will be given. Give help (intercession) then your help will be granted.” I then said, “O my Lord, my people, my people.” He then said, “Depart and remove from it the person who in his heart there is faith as big as mustard seed. Take him out!” I then left and did that. Then I returned for the fourth time. I then praised Him with those praises and then I knelt down to Him. Then He said, “O Muhammad, raise your head. Then you will be heard. Ask then you will be given. Give help (intercession) then your help will be granted.” I then said, “O my Lord, give me permission to help people who have spoken لا إله لا الله (there is no god but Allah). He then said, for the sake of my glory, my majesty, my greatness, my majesty, I will surely exclude from him those who have spoken لا إله لا الله (there is no god but Allah).” (The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari, 7510.)
From Abu Hurairah radliyallaahu ‘anha, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “I am a human leader on the Day of Judgment. Do you know how that happened? Allah gathered all the people from the first created until the last time was created in one high place so that the people who cried could hear them and the views could penetrate them, the sun approached, so that people were overcome with sorrow and distress they could not bear and could not afford them bear it. They then went to Adam álahi salaam [then he mentioned the hadts arrived at] I then left until I got under ‘Arsy. Then I prostrated to my Lord ‘Azza Waalla. Then Allah opened to me the praises of Him and the beauty of flattery to Him that had never been opened to one person before me. Then He said, “O Muhammad, raise your head! say! Then you will be heard. Ask for! Then you will be given. Give help! Then your help will be granted.” I then said, “My Lord, my people, my people, O my Lord.” Then He said, “O Muhammad, Enter the people of your people who are not counted from the door to the doors of Heaven. They are also the same as other people besides that.” Then he said, “For the sake of the One whose soul is in His power, actually the distance between the two doors of Heaven’s doors is like the distance between Mecca and Himyar or between Makkah and Bushra.” (The hadith is narrated by al-Bukhari, 4712).
Messenger of Allah shallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, “My intercession for the perpetrators of the great sin of my people.” (The hadith is narrated by at-Tirmidhi, 1983).

Actually, there are still many verses of the Qur’an and hadith that talk about Judgment Day and its relationship with the help of the Prophet Muhammad. But what I have said above is enough for us to make it as general knowledge about the focus of discussion in this article. And, if we understand the description above, then at least we can conclude a number of things as follows;

1. Day of Judgment is a day where property will not benefit everyone.
2. People who have survived the disaster on the Day of Judgment are those who face Allah Ta’ala with a clean heart.
3. Day of Judgment is a day where everyone is busy with themselves, so they cannot think of other people, even their mothers, fathers, siblings, wives, husbands and children.
4. Day of Judgment is the day when all people face Allah Ta’ala to get a trial. They will be tried fairly.
5. All Prophets have prayers that are surely granted by Allah. They have used the prayer, except the Prophet Muhammad. His prayer he saved for use as a help for the people of him who died in circumstances not associating with Allah with anything.
6. On Day of Judgment people came to Prophet Adam, Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Moses, and Prophet Isa, to ask for help. They all can’t give help. The prophet who could give help at that time was only the Prophet Muhammad.
7. On the Day of Judgment, the words of the Prophet Muhammad will be heard, his request will be granted, his help will be granted.
8. All the people of the Prophet Muhammad will get his help, even though their faith is only as big as wheat seeds, as big as a small seed, the size of mustard seeds, those who during their lifetime have uttered the phrase tauhid (…).
9. The people of the Prophet Muhammad whose deeds were not counted will enter Heaven through the door on the right.
10. The intercession of the Prophet Muhammad was also for the perpetrators of the great sins of his people.
But what we need to know later is that the help of the Prophet Muhammad. nor can it come and just happen. There are several conditions that must be fulfilled first. Among them;
First; Allah’s permission to those who give intercession.
Allah is He besides Whom there is no god, the Everliving, the Self-subsisting by Whom all subsist; slumber does not overtake Him nor sleep; whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is His; who is he that can intercede with Him but by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot comprehend anything out of His knowledge except what He pleases, His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of them both tires Him not, and He is the Highest, the Great. (Al Baqarah [02]; 255.
And intercession will not avail aught with Him save of him whom He permits. Until when fear shall be removed from their hearts, they shall say: What is it that your Lord said? They shall say: The truth. And He is the Highest, the Great.  (Saba’ [34]; 23).
Second; Allah’s willingness to those who were given intercession.
So, the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. (Al-Muddatstsir [74]; 48).
He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they do not intercede except for him whom He approves and for fear of Him they tremble. (Al-Anbiyaa’ [21]; 28).
Thus, a brief explanation of the intercession of the prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallah which we will need, even everyone at that time. I also want to convey, that his help also varies:
1. His intercession to all beings so that they will be tried immediately.
2. His intercession to people who are good deeds and bad deeds is the same so that they can enter Heaven.
3. His intercession to those who must enter Hell so that they do not enter Hell.
4. His intercession to the inhabitants of Heaven so that their degrees are raised in Heaven.
5. His intercession to people so that they can enter Heaven without reckoning, without counting their actions.
6. His intercession to those who entered Hell so that the torture they received was lightened.
7. His intercession to the inhabitants of Heaven so that they are permitted to enter Heaven.
8. His intercession to the great sinners of his people who entered Hell, so that they could get out of Hell.
I think that is enough for this article. May be useful! Hopefully we are among those who get his help on Day of Judgment later! Amen!
See you again in the next article!
