Hadith Qudsi About Obedience to Allah

The first hadith Qudsi about obedience to Allah is as follows;

Allah Azza wa Jalla said, “All of you must remember Me by obeying Me, then I will remember you with My forgiveness. Whoever remembers Me when he obeys Me, I will surely remember him with My forgiveness. Whoever remembers Me when he acts against me, I will certainly remember him with My anger.”

All Readers! The first hadith Qudsi above explains that we must remember Allah. That is the general meaning. But what we need to know is, that remembering Allah must be done in a good way, such as saying dhikr, prayer, fasting, giving alms, reading books, and so forth. If we do that, then Allah will remember us with His forgiveness. The point is, if we remember Allah in a good way, then Allah will forgive us.

In addition, another thing we must understand about the first hadith Qudsi is that remembering Allah must not be done in the wrong way, such as when we steal, lie, slander, and so forth. Why is that? Of course, because if we do that, then Allah will remember us with His anger. The point is, if we remember Allah the wrong way, Allah will be angry with us.

The second hadith Qudsi regarding obedience to Allah is as follows;

Allah Taala said, “O son of Adam! You do not remember Me, so you have thank Me. You have not forgotten me, so you have betrayed Me.”

The general meaning of the second hadith Qudsi above is, that if we remember Allah, then that means we have been grateful to Allah. But if we forget Allah, then that means we have betrayed Allah. This is a very clear command, that we remember Allah.

All Readers! That is a brief explanation of hadith Qudsi about obedience to Allah. Do you understand? If you want to ask, please ask!

I think that’s enough for this article. May be useful! Amen!

See you in the next article!
