Islamic Love Center: Month of Dhul Hijjah and its virtues ~ Hello readers! In this article I will explain about the Dhul Hijjah month and its virtues. Yup! Dhul Hijjah is one month in Islam. Dhul Hijjah is the month after Dhul Qadah. Do you know the rituals of Hajj in Islam? Muslims perform this ritual this month. There are some important things about that we should know about. Because of that, you must read this article to the end!
As usual, before I explain more about this topic, I will quote a number of hadiths that are specifically related to our discussion. Some of the hadiths I mean are as follows;
From Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, “There is no day that Allah prefers for Him to be worshiped on that day than ten days in the month of Dhul Hijjah. Fasting every day (in that month) is equivalent to fasting for one year. Every night (in that month) is equivalent to worship on Laylat al-Qadr night.”
Some of wife of Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam related, that the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam never left fasting for nine days in the month of Dhul Hijjah.”
From Jabir, from the Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, “There is no more special day according to Allah than ten days in the month of Dhul Hijjah.”
All Readers! Actually, there are several other hadiths that explain the month of Dhul-Hijjah and its virtues. I don’t need to quote all the hadiths that explain that. I think the three hadiths above are enough to explain the purpose of the theme of our discussion.
If we understand the three hadiths above, then we can at least conclude a number of things as follows;
First; the three hadiths above explain the virtue of the month of Dhul Hijjah.
Second; in the first hadith explained, that the first ten days in the month of Dhul Hijjah are the days that are very liked by Allah. The point is, that a Muslim is highly encouraged to perform worship on those days, because he will get a lot of merit as described in the hadith.
Third; in the second hadith it is explained that the Prophet Muhammad always fasted for the first nine days of Dhul Hijjah. Of course, that explains how glorious the month is and how important worship is on those days.
Fourth; in the third hadith it is explained that the first ten days of the month of Dhul Hijjah are the very special days according to Allah. Of course, for a Muslim to do a lot of worship on these days.
All Readers! That is a brief explanation of this article. Do you understand? If you want to ask, please ask!
I think that’s enough for this article. May be useful! Amen!
See you in the next article!
