Learning Islam: The Cause of Losing Beauty of Body According to Islam ~ Hi all readers! In this article I will explain the cause of the losing beauty of the body. Okay! We all agree, many people want the beauty of the body. They have done many things to get it, even if they are not willing to pay very expensive maintenance costs.
But I need to say at the beginning, that what is meant by the beauty of the body here is not material beauty, which requires a lot of cosmetics, such as removing pimples, plastic surgery, skin care, and so on. What I mean by the beauty of the body here is the inner beauty which is a factor of happiness. That feeling of happiness will emit beauty in one’s body.
We often find many facts, that there are so many people who have a lot of money, he is able to care for the body at a very expensive cost, but his heart is not happy; something is missing from him.
I found some advice from the Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam to Ali bin Abi Talib about the beauty of a person and the cause of the loss of beauty. The advice I mean is as follows;
“O Ali! Whoever has many sins, the beauty will be lost.”
“O Ali! Sleep often can kill the heart and eliminate beauty. Many sins can be deadly and regretful.”
All readers! If we understand the two suggestions above, of course we already know, that the cause of the loss of beauty of one’s body is as follows;
One; Many sins.
Two; Dead heart.
Three; Sleep often.
Now, do you understand? Not yet? Okay! I will explain it all.
In the teachings of any religion, sin is a very forbidden thing. All followers of any religion are required to know sin. Why is that? Of course, because sin will have bad consequences for the owner, both in the life of the world and in the afterlife.
In Islamic teachings, it is explained, that if someone’s sin could be seen, then on someone’s body there would be many bad signs. In the inner world the sinner will be tormented. In the hereafter he will be tortured in retaliation for the sins he has committed.
If someone has many sins, then his heart will die. That is one problematic consequence. Why is that? Of course, because sin will cover the heart, it should receive the light that will guide it to do good. If the light cannot enter a person’s heart, then his heart is dead.
If someone often sleeps, then the beauty will disappear from his body. Why is that? Of course, because activities will activate all organs in the body; blood circulation will be smooth, the brain thinks, sweat will come out of the body, and so on.
Now consider what I will say below;
One; Compare the faces of people who don’t drink alcohol and the faces of people who don’t drink alcohol!
Two; Compare the faces of people who consume drugs and the faces of people who don’t consume drugs!
Three; Compare our faces when we tell the truth and our faces when we lie!
Four; Compare our faces when we often sleep in one day and our faces are active in one day!
Five; Compare the face of someone who can receive good advice and the face of someone who cannot accept advice!
Six; Compare the faces of sick people who have to rest a lot, including sleep, and the faces of healthy people! And so forth.
I’m not will to give an answer to conclude the comparison above. If we will be healthy, then we will all agree on the conclusions.
That is a brief explanation of the cause of losing beauty of body according to Islam. May beauty not be lost from our bodies! Amen!
I think that is enough for this article about the cause of losing beauty of body according to Islam. See you again in the next article!
