Best Information for Muslim: Allah Taala Will Forgive All Types of Sin, Except This Sin ~ Hi readers! In this article I will invite you to know the kind of sin that will not be forgiven by Allah Ta’ala. As a Muslim we must know about this, because in the teachings of Islam there are many kinds of sins with various tortures that will be accepted by the perpetrator as a result of his actions. But I need to mention one thing before we continue the discussion of this topic, that in this discussion I do not intend to invite you to underestimate the sins forgiven by Allah Ta’ala.
For example, in Islamic teachings, theft is a great sin. This type of sin relates to two parties; Allah Ta’ala and a victim of theft. The penalty for the perpetrator of theft is a cut off hand, if the stolen property has reached the set limit. Allah Almighty will forgive the sin of theft if the perpetrator is willing to repent and not repeat the bait.
There is also a kind of sin caused by drunkenness, or drinking khamr (a drink that can make a person drunk). As punishment, the person who drinks the khamr must be whipped. All the punishments laid down by Islam for sinners aim to eliminate harm in the life of this world, especially those dealing directly with humans.
But in Islamic teachings not all sin will be forgiven by Allah Ta’ala. Let’s take a look at some of the verses below so that we understand the core topic of our discussion. Allah Ta’ala said;
Know that Allah is severe in requiting (evil) and that Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (Al-Maa’idah ; 98).
Say: O my servants! who have acted extravagantly against their own souls, do not despair of the mercy of Allah; surely Allah forgives the faults altogether; surely, He is the Forgiving the Merciful. (Az-Zumar ; 53).
Then hasten on from the Place from which the people hasten on and ask the forgiveness of Allah; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (Al-Baqarah ; 199).
That is of which Allah gives the good news to His servants, (to) those who believe and do good deeds. Say: I do not ask of you any reward for it but love for my near relatives; and whoever earns good, We give him more of good therein; surely Allah is Forgiving, Grateful. (Asy-Syuuraa ; 23).
Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and He forgives what is besides this to whom He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he indeed strays off into a remote error. (An-Nisaa’ ; 116).
Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin. (An-Nisaa’ ; 48).
In addition to some verses of the Qur’an above, of course there are many more verses of the Qur’an that explain about sin. But if we understand the above verses of course we already know, that Allah will forgive all kinds of sins committed by that person willing to ask forgiveness to Allah Ta’ala and he does not repeat the sinful acts, except the sin of polytheism; associate Allah with something or someone. That is because the pagan sinner has denied the foundation of the most basic faith. While the forgiveness of Allah Ta’ala for other types of sin is a clear proof, that Islam is a religion that carries the mission of love, the mission of peace.
