Hadith Qudsi About Fasting ~ Hi, dear readers! Soon, Muslims will observe one of their obligations: fasting for one month during Ramadan. There are many important aspects to understand about this practice. One key element is the teachings regarding fasting in Ramadan, particularly those found in Hadith Qudsi. That’s why I wrote this article; you must read it to the end, as it contains essential information!

It's important to note that there are numerous Hadith Qudsi related to fasting, especially during Ramadan. However, I will only discuss three of them in this article.

Hadith Qudsi About Fasting

The three Hadith Qudsi regarding fasting are as follows:

قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : كُلُّ عَمَلِ ابْنِ آدَمَ لَهُ إِلَّا الصَّوْمَ هُوَ لِيْ وَأَنَا أَجْزِيْ بِهِ

Allah Azza wa Jalla said, "All the actions of the children of Adam are for him, except fasting. It (fasting) is for Me, and I will reward it."

قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى : الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ يَسْتَجِنُّ بِهَا عَبْدِيْ مِنَ النَّارِ

Allah Taala said, "Fasting is a shield that My servants use to protect themselves from Hell."

قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ : الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ يَسْتَجِنُّ بِهَا الْعَبْدُ مِنَ النَّارِ . هُوَ لِيْ وَأَنَا أَجْزِيْ بِهِ

Allah Azza wa Jalla said, "Fasting is a shield that My servants use to protect themselves from Hell. It (fasting) is for Me, and I will reward it."
