From Abu Dhar, Allah's Messenger (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Whoever fasts for three days in each month will be as if he fasted for the entire year."

Allah says:

"Whoever comes [on the Day of Judgment] with a good deed will have ten times the like thereof [to his credit], and whoever comes with an evil deed will not be recompensed except the like thereof; and they will not be wronged." (Al-An'am [6]; 160).

From Abdullah bin Amru, he reported that the Messenger of Allah (Prophet Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Fast for three days every month! Surely the reward is ten times that, which is like fasting for one year."

The Prophet (Muhammad) sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Fasting for three days every month is a commendable fast."
